And of course if you want to go big Costco also has a Premium Floral Arrangement of one dozen long stemmed roses in a large glass vase with matching ribbon for $49.99.

When it comes to chocolates Costco has an assortment of gourmet boxed Belgian Chocolates that are sure to please any chocolate lover. Two of my favorites are Godiva and Gudrun, which both come in pretty boxes with ribbon that are ready to give.

Not into chocolates but still have a sweet tooth? Check out the Costco Bakery for Valentine’s Day themed baked goods, like the delicious Costco Sheet Cakes that can feed a whole crowd!

On a slightly smaller scale try the decadent All American Chocolate Cake or the Red Velvet Cake with Cream Cheese Icing. For cookies try Chris’s Cookies assortment of Valentine’s Day Heart Cookies or Costco’s Hand Dipped Heart Shaped Shortbread Cookies

Last but not least, don’t forget about Costco’s huge Cupcake 6-packs that are available in Red Velvet Cake with Cream Cheese Icing for Valentine’s Day.

However you choose to celebrate (or choose not to celebrate), Valentine’s Day one thing for sure is you can never go wrong with Champagne or Sparkling Wine. I personally never pass up an opportunity to indulge in a little bubbly, even if it’s just me having brunch at home on a snow day… Costco has a renowned selection of wines that includes a variety of Champagnes and Sparking Wines for every budget.

I hope everyone has a Happy Valentine’s Day!

  1. Noticed quite a few chocolate covered strawberries that they were making. Went back on Sunday and still quite a few leftovers. Wonder what they do with the remainders?

  2. I purchased Chris' Valentines cookies and they are delicious. I hope Costco in Manhattan will carry them all year round.

  3. Thanks for reading my blog!
Where did you see the chocolate covered strawberries?! Costco has not carried them in the DC area for several years now 🙁
I'm not sure what Costco does with perishable items that don't sell. I assume they do what most retailers do and toss what isn't sold. You could ask Costco directly via their Facebook page, they are really good about responding.
